Well…I am not sure what I just saw, but overall it is what happens when real fans of the material are left out of the writing process.
It isn’t the true origin story of either Optimus Prime or Megatron and it reminds me of a Pixar Disney fluff piece.
As a lifelong Transformers fan, the origins have changed back-and-forth but making Optimus prime and Megatron brothers in arms is a ridiculous idea. Optimus Prime inherited the matrix from Alpha Trion after being injured by Megatron when he was Orion Pax. Megatron wanted to conquer.
Real fans will sit it out mostly and kids might like it.
That is the overall plan, to appeal to the ferrits who are quick to gobble it up without looking at what they just ate.
Food…must consume.
